Model kits, a lot of people out there have always been confusing model kits with ordinary toys. Toys, when you buy them from stores, they are already built and there is no need for you to assemble them. On the other hand, model kits are needed to be assembled and painted. There are lots of things to do with your model kit. There is just too much detail in model kits that ordinary toys don’t have.
Also in model kits, there are a certain degree and level of challenge for its collector. That most of the toys don’t have, well except for the legos. And that challenge is what most of the collectors are after. They just love the thrill of building a model kit of such high level of difficulty added to it. And that what adds the price to their valuable collection.
So in the end, model kits are not just other ordinary toys. Some might even still call these model kits as plain toys, but for those collectors out there, model kits are not just toys.
