Books, books and more books

literature

Books have been with us for as long as we know it. And it serves us a lot of purpose. From bookkeeping history and keeping track of other major events in the past, to informing us with a lot of knowledge; and from capturing our imaginations to telling us bed time stories before we go to bed.

So we are really thankful for having those books, and for the one who invented this amazing literature work. Because without them, there will be no progress, and we might been living in a prehistoric age where people are not civilized. That might sound absurd or far-fetched, but our life without the book, that kind of possibility may not be that far.

Books are here to stay, and will never vanish or disappear in our culture. And it is because we have a lot of use for the stuff. Not only of it being a good informant, but also kill the time just by while we are reading books.

Some might even think of our good old friend the book as a boring piece of paper, but that is what is they are wrong. For some reading book is just wasting their time, but what they doesn’t realize is that they can gain a lot of knowledge just by reading a book. The book just appears to be boring to them because they don’t know what they want. I mean, they are still lost, in the sense that they don’t know what kind of books they want to read.

Me too, a little while ago, I wasn’t that much of a fan of reading books, except the dictionary. But when I began to read book, I was just hooked without me even noticing it. I was captivated by the power of the book; sure they look so boring, but trust what they say, “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. After reading several books, then I start to appreciate and feel the kind of enlightenment that only book can do.

So if I were you, I will start reading books. Start by reading what interest you, because eventually you will develop the hunger for knowledge.
