Shopping malls are one of the places where people would love to hang out, dine, shop, and rendezvous. There are just a lot of things to do, stalls to visit, and restaurants to dine inside a shopping mall. And malls have been a part of our daily life and culture.
We Filipinos can’t live without the mall, because it has been a part of our life. And we can’t simply last a day if the entire mall here in our country were to close down. We all are really thankful for the ones who brought the mall here in our country.
First things first, why are almost all Filipinos addicted to malls considering that they sell pricy stuffs that an average person can’t even buy? Well the answer to that question is, Philippines is a tropical country. And when the summer comes, it tends to be really hot here in our country. And that is where a shopping mall comes in handy. Malls here in our country have large air conditioning units, making their establishments cool all the time. And that is what most of us are after, the cold environment of malls. A way to escape the scorching heat our tropical country has.
Next it is second to the church, a mall is where a lot of people gather. If you want to see a lot of people but it’s not yet Sunday, then the best place where you can find them is if you go to the nearest mall. A lot of Filipino families usually spend their weekend at the mall where they can all enjoy and unwind.
Regardless of the pricey products they sell, Filipinos tend to buy items from malls, and that is because they provide us a lot of selections not to mention quality products as well. That is why we still continue buying from them despite their prices being pricey.
But all in all, a mall here in the Philippines truly is a very fun and lively place to go. That is if you are bored and looking for some fun.
